Light of the World Ballet’s professional staff is dedicated to providing quality training to the dance student in a Godly atmosphere. Through class, performance, and character development based on biblical principles, the student builds self-discipline and confidence while maturing in their God-given talents. Students are challenged to give their best to become a skilled dancer with strong character.

Classes start Monday, September 16 2024

ALL PAYMENTS BELOW ARE PER TRIMESTER AND INCLUDE REGISTRATION FEE. 

THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL $25 COSTUME FEE/$35 total per family FOR BOTH CHRISTMAS AND SPRING SHOWS.

Ballet 6 $425/trimester

Monday 6-8pm, Tuesday 4:30-6:30pm (optional if not in youth ballet/deduct $15 from trimester payment), Wednesday 4:30-6:30pm, Thursday 4:30-6:30 

Ballet 7 $462/trimester (Includes youth ballet payment)  

Monday 6-8pm, Tuesday 4:30-6:30pm, Wednesday 4:30-6:30pm,  Thursday 4:30-6:30pm 

Light of the World Youth Ballet $110 Annually 

                    (By Invitation Only)

                    Thursday Rehearsal  6:30-7:30pm  

Homeschool Beg / Int Ballet Ages 8 and older 

Three 5 week sessions/$100 per session/Dates TBA

                    Thursday 10:30-11:30am 

                    (This class does not perform in Christmas or Spring Shows) 

Homeschool Pre-Ballet  Ages 4-7 

Three 5 weeks sessions/$90 per session/Dates TBA

                   Thursday 10:45-11:30 am

                   (This class does not perform in the Christmas or Spring shows.)

Class Attire

Hair back in a smooth, tight bun away from face.  

Ballet 1, 2- Short sleeve pink leotard, pink skirt, pink tights, pink ballet slippers.

Ballet 3, 4, 5, Home School – Black leotard, black wrap skirt, pink convertible tights, pink ballet slippers. 

Modern 5, 6, 7 – Black leotard, undergarment support or tights top, black shorts, pink or black convertible tights. 

Ballet  6, & 7- Black leotard, black wrap skirt, pink or black tights, undergarment support or tights top, pink ballet slippers. Can wear a colored leotard on Thursday.

 

Weather Cancellations

If classes are canceled due to weather, students will be informed by text or email at least 1 hour before the first class of the day. 

Missed classes can be made up by taking another level class.

Refunds are given only for medical reasons, with a doctor’s certificate.

 

Discounts

Please contact us – multiple family members 10% off; ministry and military discounts 5% off. 

 

Costume Rental

There is an additional $25 costume fee /$35 total per family twice a year for costumes worn in Christmas and Spring shows. 

 

Youth Ballet Participation

Youth ballet will receive an invitation to participate no later than 2 weeks prior to school start date. There will be a schedule, handbook to review and a signed commitment. Classes and rehearsals are of vital importance in maintaining position in youth ballet.
